Each translation of the DIVA 2.0 should follow the procedure below:
Translation from Dutch to your own language (your task)
This may be done by a translation bureau or bilingual person you know. All co-operators will be mentioned in the Colophon. After Dutch DIVA 2.0 is translated into your language, you or any other professional in the field should check if the translation covers the everyday spoken language in psychiatry, so that patients and physicians will easily recognize the symptoms and impairment of ADHD. This will improve the quality of the translation.
Backtranslation from your language back to Dutch (your task)
This may also be done by a translation bureau.
